Job Description:
As a Bar Manager at Pep's Wine Bar, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our establishment. You will be responsible for managing the bar, leading and educating staff, and ensuring a seamless experience for both customers and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Educate and train staff on wine knowledge, service standards, and best practices.
- Lead and motivate a small team of dedicated casuals to provide excellent customer service.
- Implement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and maintain a high level of service.
- Review and update menus and wine lists, ensuring they align with the overall vision of Pep's Wine Bar.
- Facilitate staff training sessions and tastings to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
- Collaborate with the Pep's Venue Manager and other members of the Management team to achieve business goals.
- Maintain compliance with licensing regulations and ensure all staff members are RSA certified.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of wines and beverages.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in staff training and development.
- Approved Manager's Licence is essential.
- RSA certification is required.
