About Us:

Pep’s Wine Bar is a community-focused neighbourhood venue known for its warm atmosphere, thoughtful wine list, and relaxed but professional service. We are expanding our team and are looking for friendly, reliable Front of House casual staff to join us.

Job Description:

As a Front of House team member, you will contribute to the smooth running of the venue and help deliver an exceptional experience for all guests. You will work closely with the Bar Manager and Venue Manager to maintain high service standards and uphold the welcoming environment Pep’s is known for.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service to all guests.

• Support the bar and floor team with service, running, clearing, and general venue duties.

• Assist customers with wine and beverage selections (training provided).

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the bar, floor, and outdoor areas.

• Follow all opening, service, and closing procedures as directed.

• Uphold venue standards, including responsible service of alcohol and compliance with licensing requirements.

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient, seamless service.

Qualifications:

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not essential.

• A genuine interest in wine and hospitality.

• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure.

• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

• RSA certification required (or willingness to obtain).
